The TXL-838-WID (Wide) is a self-propelled, dual-platform loader designed to transfer containers and pallets weighing up to 7 600 kg (16,700 lbs.) With the ability to interface 178 cm (70”), 254 cm (100”), or 356 cm (140”) doors, this heavy duty
loader can be used to service the following aircraft:
• Lower Lobe: 747, 757, 767, 777, DC-10, MD-11, L-1011, A300, A310, A320, A330, A340, A380, IL76
• Main Deck: 707, 727, 737, BAE-146, A320, DC-8, DC-9, MD-80
Engine: Caterpillar C4.4 Tier III electronic diesel in swing-out module protected against overheat and low fluids/pressure. J1939 interface. Other engines available.
Bridge: Fold-down tray and left side handrail. Combination of full-width rollers, MDW rows and PDU’s for straight transfer and side shift when available. Modular, simple transfer system for ease of maintenance.
Elevator: Depending on configuration, several combinations of full width rollers, MDW rows and PDUs wheels for straight transfer, side transfer and rotation. Full-width solid rollers on perimeter. Modular, simple transfer system for ease of maintenance.
Vehicle Drive: Two-speed front wheel drive with heavy duty wheel-mounted hydraulic motors and standard automotive drum brakes.
Switches, Harnesses, Connectors: CAN** weatherproof proportional joysticks and switches for smooth operation. Rated for IP65 protection or better (Corrosion resistant) Rear Wheels: Dual bogeys wheels, fixed
height as standard.
Stabilizers: 2 front located stabilizers providing excellent stability. Self retract into stowed position for towing.
Emergency Pump: Battery-powered back-up for platforms down, clear decks, stabilizers up.
Diagnostics: User-friendly LCD menu interface for settings and troubleshooting. Display error messages, J1939 interface for engine diagnostic and control.
Electronics: Multiplexing CAN based control system allowing fast and accurate response while drastically simplifying electrical wires and harnesses.
